Onsite Dining
Terra, the signature restaurant, offers Canadian cuisine using local ingredients. The restaurant is inspired by Jasper. The menu changes seasonally. Terra hosts live music on the second and fourth Thursday of each month, from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. Also, the restaurant features weekly winter-inspired dinners. The restaurant also provides sanitary and worry-free dining experiences.
Leisure at Crimson
The Crimson features an indoor pool and an indoor hot tub. A 24-hour fitness center is available with an elliptical machine, a treadmill, free weights, and weight machines. The hotel is pet-friendly, with a $25 per room pet fee. The maximum is two pets per room and is only available in certain room types. A month of live music is available from local artist Marie and Edmonton artist John Hewitt.
Location and Transport
Located on the edge of downtown Jasper, The Crimson is one block from shops and restaurants. From Edmonton, take Highway 16, merging onto Connaught Drive. The Crimson is one kilometre down Connaught Drive on the right. The hotel provides free onsite parking on a first-come, first-served basis, with additional free street parking and a parking lot across the street. Brewster Express provides transport to the hotel from Calgary, Canmore, Banff, or Lake Louise, from May through October. The SunDog Mountain Connector provides service to Jasper from Edmonton or Calgary in winter, with additional pick-ups in Banff and Lake Louise.

Solid Stay in the Heart of the Town
mountain views friendly staff superb comfort
I found the location very convenient to walk around. My room had mountain views. Staff were friendly . The bed had superb comfort.
The walls seem thin. I did hear some noise from other rooms.

The fitness center includes three treadmills, two stationary bikes, and a selection of free weights. A guest could also use the indoor pool, which has about twenty loungers and a shaded area for relaxation after a refreshing swim.

great pool quality toiletries comfortable bed helpful staff
The pool temperature was GREAT. The pool area maintained excellent cleanliness. I found quality toiletries provided in the room. Beds and pillows offered adequate comfort. The staff answered questions easily.
The building amplified sounds, which carried from other rooms and the hallway.

missing hanger room service
The room was huge. It had plenty of space and a cooling fridge.
Our stay had a few issues. i noticed that our room lacked a hanger to request service or indicate 'do not disturb'. i asked reception, but they didn't provide one. They only took our room number. when we came back later, the room hadn't been cleaned. reception just gave us new towels. The room should have been serviced.
